Depending on how much it is to fix that bullshit, I’ll say slight NP. However, a used 2003 Nissan Maxima (like the one I occasionally drive) with 150,000 kilometres on it only goes for $3500 CAD, so it may be worth it to buy one that isn’t broken.
Also, if you can find one with a stick, you win forever.
